REAWAKENING
I built this playlist as I began rewriting the Bloodbound origin story. Just as with the original series in 2011, I envisioned it being adapted into a TV stories, and the music of Poets of the Fall threaded well into many key moments of the updated story, and their song "Locking Up the Sun" serves as the series 'theme song.'

WEST OF NOWHERE
The underlying theme of the second novel is doubt, unease, and manifestations of rage. But there's also threads of devotion, companionship, and teamwork. To that end, this playlist features music by Memphis May Fire, GUNSHIP, Emarosa and more.
ALTERNATE TRACKS
The third book has the most direct connections to my favorite music as one of our major characters is a musician, passing off songs from our realm as his own work in another dimension! As such this playlist is lengthier and includes more alternate and cover versions than the others.
EXTREME TEMPERATURES
Thematically, I am seeking songs whose titles include phrases related to extreme heat or cold, which I think may even help me as I write the fourth novel in the series. This'll be a fun challenge!
